WoW4 designs and maintains the Zone-Media webiste on behalf of our client, therefore this privacy statement pertains to WoW4 and by inference therefore covers Zone-Media.

WoW4 Commitment to Privacy
WoW4 is fully committed to upholding the Directive on Privacy and Electronic Communications (DPEC). We want you to feel comfortable and secure with the information that WoW4 collects and the safeguards we have in place to protect that information. The WoW4 Privacy and Cookie Policy outlines details about how we may collect, use, disclose and otherwise handle personal information, whether online or offline. Information is also provided on how to change or opt-out of information being collected about you.

The term "WoW4" Client Web sites" is used throughout this Privacy and Cookie Policy and refers to Web sites of clients in addition to the WoW4 Corporate Web site. This Privacy and Cookie Policy may have even been accessed through a link from a WoW4 Client Web site.

Personal Information
Personal information is defined as information or an opinion (including information or an opinion forming part of a database), that is recorded in any form and whether true or not, about an individual whole identity is apparent, or can be reasonably ascertained, from the information or opinion.

When you visit aWoW4 Client Web site, you are not required to disclose who you are or reveal any personal information. It is your choice whether or not you do so.

Also, at some WoW4 Client Web sites, a pop-up window may invite you to answer survey questions and provide certain demographic information such as your age, sex, and income bracket, country of access and location of connection (e.g. home or work). Response to these windows is voluntary. It is important for you to understand that your identity will not be able to be ascertained from this demographic information, and so it will not be “personal information” for the purposes of this privacy and Cookie policy.

If you choose to provide your demographic information in response to a pop up window, another cookie will be set which will link to your Unique Visitor Cookie. The result of these two sources of information is your "Site Usage Information". (Refer to "Method of Collecting Information" for more information about Unique Visitor Cookie and Site Usage Information).

Type of Information Collected & Use and Disclosure
WoW4 may collect personal information from people who request our services, and from other people we do business with. However, we only collect personal information online if it is volunteered by you.

For example, through this Web site, we will collect personal information that you may send to us on our forms (such as Newsletter Signup, General Enquiries, and our careers enquiry form).

We use personal information for the purpose for which it was provided, or for related purposes. For example, we may use and disclose personal information in order to provide you with the services you have requested, or to keep you informed about our services (unless you have asked not to be contacted about this). We will not use or disclose personal information about you for other purposes without your consent.

In all cases, these third party contractors are contractually required to keep that information confidential and to respect your privacy. They are not authorized by WoW4 to use that information for any other purpose than to carry out the services they are performing for or with WoW4.

From time to time, we may collect personal information from prospective employees through our websites. Personal information submitted for employment purposes will only be used in connection with the relevant employment application process. It will not be used or disclosed for any other purposes unless required or authorized by Law.

When visiting this Web site or any WoW4 Client Web site, we collect certain information such as your IP address, what pages you viewed and your location previous to accessing the Web site. This information will not identify you, so will not be ‘personal information’. However, we mention this here so that you are fully informed about the types of information we collect.

Method of Collecting Information
As noted above, we collect personal information through our websites through online forms. In the offline world, we may collect personal information through our usual business dealings (e.g. when entering into contracts).

We may also use “Cookie” to collect other information that is not personal information (i.e. it will not identify you). For example, "Cookie" may be used to gather statistical information that will assist in understanding what users find interesting and useful on client Web sites. These Cookies are known as your "Unique Visitor Cookie", which is a small piece of data or a number that identifies your computer. This information cannot be used to identify you. This data is sent to your browser from a Web server and then stored onto your computer's hard drive. Through modification of browser preferences, a user can elect to accept all Cookie, receive notification when a cookie is set or decline all Cookie. Alterations to these settings may, however, affect the functionality of WoW4 Client Web sites.

A piece of code may also be embedded into pages of certain client Web sites. This provides statistical site usage information relating solely to Internet usage behavior. WoW4cannot use this code to identify you.

Security and Storage of Information Collected
WoW4 is committed to maintaining the security of personal information it collects and to protect such information from loss, misuse or alteration. This also applies to other information which is not personal information, such as demographic information and client site usage information. Data collected is stored on secure WoW4 servers that can only be accessed by authorized WoW4 personnel. To safeguard all information collected, Lestranet.com and its employees follow the practices in this Policy. Access or use of information for any purpose other than those explained in this Policy will not be authorized.

Access, Changing and De-activating personal information
If you would like to change or de-activate any personal information you have submitted to WoW4, please send a request to askus@wow4-ltd.co.uk As soon as your request is received, Lestranet.com will change or de-activate any information that could be used to identify you. Once de-activated, your data will no longer be accessible. However, due to limitations imposed by system backups to magnetic media including the off-site secure storage of data from our data warehouse, data can (in some circumstances) remain on these tapes. In the unlikely event that one of these tapes is accessed as part of a larger recovery of WoW4 data, your data would continue to be flagged and remain de-activated and inaccessible for use by WoW4 staff.

Changes to the WoW4 Privacy and Cookie Policy
To fully protect your privacy, WoW4 reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time and for any reason. Amended terms will be posted via the WoW4 Web site as they occur and you are encouraged to check back frequently for updates. This Privacy and Cookie Policy was last amended on October 10th, 2004.
